The Kendall Bug Mission, Inc.

We are a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, located in Oceanside, California. We are founded by the parents of Kendall Blanc who passed away in a tragic drowning accident in June 2019, in her family’s backyard swimming pool. Our Mission is to prevent childhood drowning through water safety education and access to Infant Swimming Resource Self Rescue Swim Lessons.

Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children ages 1-4.

A Message From Our Founders

In the first several months of our Kendall bug gaining her angel wings, we often asked ourselves WHY? The harsh reality is we will never know why.

Now instead we ask, HOW can we PREVENT other families the heartbreaking tragedy we experienced.

The hard truth is this loss was PREVENTABLE.

We will forever dedicate our lives to educating as many families as possible of the necessary self-rescue skills and barriers that should be implemented to save our children’s lives.
