Why the Kendall Bug 5K Matters

Drowning is fast, silent, and preventable. The Kendall Bug 5K exists to turn awareness into action by:

  • Educating families on water safety and drowning prevention

  • Funding swim safety education and access

  • Supporting children and families through scholarships and Pay It Forward programs

  • Building a stronger, more informed community around water safety

In 2024, thanks to community support:

  • We sponsored 22 students through donations and our Founder Pay It Forward Program

  • Hundreds of families engaged in water safety education

  • A growing movement was created — one step at a time

A Mission Bigger Than One Day

The Kendall Bug 5K isn’t just a race — it’s part of a year-round mission to educate, advocate, and protect.

Together, we can:

  • Reduce drowning incidents

  • Empower parents with knowledge

  • Create safer communities around water

  • One step. One family. One life at a time.
